This Valentine’s Day, treat yourself (and someone you love) to a light and creamy frozen yogurt bark made with Alexandre Family Farm A2/A2 Organic 100% Grass-fed Lowfat Yogurt, fresh raspberries, and a drizzle of dark chocolate. This recipe is simple, nourishing, and the perfect “something sweet”.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Alexandre Lowfat Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh organic raspberries
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Method:
1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla until smooth. Add in 1/4 cup of the fresh raspberries and break up slightly to produce a light pink color throughout.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the yogurt mixture on top and spread into a ½-inch thick layer.
3. Scatter the remaining raspberries evenly over the yogurt and lightly press them in so they stick.
4. Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave in 20–30 second increments, stirring until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate over the yogurt bark.
5. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 3–4 hours, or until fully hardened. Once frozen, lift the parchment paper off the tray and break the bark into pieces. Enjoy!
