Cows that eat only grass produce more nutrient-rich milk. 100% grass-fed organic dairy has significantly more omega-3s – the essential fatty acids that contribute to brain and eye health, especially in children. There is also a better balance of omega-6 to omega-3 in 100% grass-fed dairy – helping bring people’s ratio closer to the 2: 1 ratio considered optimal for human health. CLAs (Conjugated Linoleic Acids) – healthy fats known for their evidence-based benefits – are highest in 100% grass-fed dairy.
We choose to leave the milkfat levels exactly as they are on the day of milking – giving you the seasonal benefit of full fat. The bonus to all this nutritious goodness is that 100% grass-fed milk tastes extra creamy and rich and delicious!
INGREDIENTS: Organic 100% Grass-fed Milk AVAILABLE SIZES: 12oz, 28oz, 48oz
Our A2/A2 Organic 100% Grass-fed Milk (with the green cap and label) comes from 100% grass-fed cows and has a fluctuating Seasonal Full Fat - meaning we do not add or remove any cream and the milkfat in each batch is the same as it came from the cows on the day of milking.
This differs from our A2/A2 Organic 6% Whole Milk (with the red cap and label), which comes from cows that consume 80% of their diet from forage and 20% from certified organic corn, and has a milkfat that is always standardized to 6%.
Yes. The certified regenerative grass pastures that our cows graze on are more nutrient dense - translating in milk and kefir that has comparatively more nutrients, especially omega-3 fatty acids, which play several important roles in the body. They are an essential building block of the brain, eyes, and cell membranes (a cell’s outer wall), and have been shown to help prevent a number of chronic diseases, including heart disease and stroke.
No, it is not homogenized. There is cream on top. Shake it in well (or not)!
