Let's spice up summer with this scrumptious buffalo chicken pizza paired with Mama Stephanie’s creamy homemade ranch dressing! This ranch recipe features our smooth and velvety yogurt. Unlike store-bought ranch dressing, this ranch is free from preservatives and full of gut-friendly goodness. Needless to say, your taste buds, body, and family will thank you for this fun and nourishing dinner!
Ingredients
- 1 Pizza Dough (enough for one 8-12” pizza)
- Cornmeal, for dusting
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup cooked shredded free-range chicken
- 1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup blue cheese, feta, or gorgonzola cheese
- 1 diced green onion, for serving
- 1/4 cup Alexandre Homemade Ranch Dressing Recipe, for serving
METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If using an outdoor pizza oven, preheat according to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and generously dust it with cornmeal to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the dough by placing it directly on the cornmeal-dusted surface. Roll it out into a 12-inch round, ensuring the bottom is well-coated with cornmeal.
3. Combine the buffalo sauce and chicken in a small bowl, mixing until evenly coated. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border around the edges.
4. Add toppings by sprinkling mozzarella cheese, sliced red onion, and any additional cheese (blue cheese, feta, etc) over the chicken.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp. If using an outdoor pizza oven, transfer pizza to the oven using a spatula and cook until the crust is fully baked and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
6. Finish and serve by garnishing with sliced green onions and a generous drizzle of our homemade ranch dressing recipe. Serve immediately and enjoy!
