Time: 20 Minutes + 6 hours freezing time | Serves: 6 popsicles
Cool down this 4th of July with the ultimate treat! WonderCow and Alexandre have teamed up to bring you creamy, dreamy popsicles — a nostalgic childhood favorite with a healthy twist, made from farm-fresh goodness!
Ingredients:
RED LAYER
- 10 frozen organic cherries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 scoop WonderCow Elderberry Colostrum
WHITE LAYER
- 1/4 cup Alexandre A2/A2 Organic 6% Whole Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Alexandre A2/A2 Organic 4% Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
BLUE LAYER
- 1/4 cup Alexandre A2/A2 Organic 6% Whole Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Alexandre A2/A2 Organic 4% Whole Milk
- 1 scoop WonderCow Elderberry Colostrum
- 1/4 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
Method:
1. PREPARE THE RED LAYER:
In a small blender, combine the frozen cherries, water, and WonderCow Elderberry Colostrum. Blend until smooth. Evenly distribute the mixture among 6 popsicle molds. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
2. PREPARE THE WHITE LAYER:
In a bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the yogurt, milk, and maple syrup until well combined. Remove the molds from the freezer and carefully pour the white mixture over the frozen red layer. Insert popsicle sticks, ensuring they reach just into the solid red layer. Return the molds to the freezer for another 2 hours, or until fully solidified.
3. PREPARE THE BLUE LAYER:
In a small blender or bowl, combine the yogurt, milk, WonderCow Elderberry Colostrum, and blue spirulina powder. Blend or whisk until smooth. Remove the molds from the freezer and gently pour the blue mixture over the white layer, being careful to pour around the popsicle sticks. Freeze for an additional 2 hours, or until completely firm.
To Serve:
Remove popsicles from the molds and enjoy immediately. Store any extras in an airtight container in the freezer.
