Enjoy the taste of summer with this bold BBQ Chicken Pizza topped with our Spicy Cilantro Kefir Sauce! This recipe is both smoky and savory with protein-rich chicken and our delicious probiotic cilantro drizzle. Perfectly balanced for both summer fun and wellness!
Ingredients:
- 1 Pizza Dough (enough for one 8-12” pizza)
- Cornmeal, for dusting
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup cooked shredded free-range chicken
- 1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup frozen or fresh corn, thawed/cut off the cob
- 1 diced green onion, for serving
- 1/4 cup Homemade Spicy Cilantro Kefir Sauce, for serving
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If using an outdoor pizza oven, preheat according to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and generously dust it with cornmeal to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the dough by placing it directly on the cornmeal-dusted surface. Roll it out into a 12-inch round, ensuring the bottom is well-coated with cornmeal.
- Spread the BBQ sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges. Add toppings by sprinkling the cooked chicken, mozzarella cheese, sliced red onion, and corn over the BBQ sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp. If using an outdoor pizza oven, cook until the crust is fully baked, and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
