Starting with our organic, pasture raised eggs and adding in our whole milk, we’re able to bring you a delicious treat that is nutritiously indulgent. We use a “low and slow” heating method when preparing our milk to harness all of the wholesome goodness in pasture-raised cow’s milk. Our cool, coastal climate provides green grass 365 days a year – a constant source of nourishment for our unique blend of crossbreed cows and our milk.
Yes. The eggs are added before pasteurization in our A2/A2 Organic Homegrown Eggnog. We mix the eggs with the milk, cream, and spices and pasteurize it all together.
Our eggnog is especially creamy and delicious for a few reasons. We add whole eggs from our own egg ranch – not just the yolk – making it rich and thick. We use NO emulsifiers or thickeners – the egg whites act as a thickener. These, with our high level of cream create the luscious, rich texture. If you check out the ingredients, you’ll also notice that eggs are listed before sugar – meaning there is more egg than sugar! This makes our Homegrown Eggnog not too sweet, which tends to be more palatable for adults (but kids love it too!). A balanced combination of five spices also provides a rich depth of flavor that perfectly complements the A2/A2 organic milk and cream that come from our organic, regenerative farm.
